Uta Zapf delivered a presentation on the plenary, "Avenues to a Nuclear Weapons Convention." The NWC session was originally intended as a breakout, but, due to demonstrated interest from the discussions, was turned into the final plenary.

Dr. Rebecca Johnson chaired the NWC plenary.

Dr. Jürgen Scheffran of the International Network of Engineers and Scientists against Proliferation was a drafter of the Model Nuclear Weapons Convention.
